This morning I fed my kid! Look at the pic of two kids my kid is NOT the spotted one! Then I rode the two horses! I practiced showing a goat!The pic of that girl is my new friend Emma! Sory I have to cut this short but I have so so so so so so so much to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

day 3

Today I fed my kid and rode the gorgeous horses Bella and patches. Then I had to do TRAIL WORK!!!!!!! BOO HOO!!!!! I got to shear an Alpaca. I am having alot of FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pic of that one girl Bailey is my new friend! If you are reading this mom that means set up a sleepover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

day2

I fed my kid Black Cherry! Then I was picked to saddle patches the horse and rode her! I made a leather work. Then I had to SCOOP POOP! I made ICE CREAM! I had a bee lesson!I milked my milking goat Dove! Then I made lip balm! Right now I am safely inside typing away!! I put the safely part for you MOM!!!!!!!

day 1

This morning I fed a kid. Then I had to chose from horseback riding and forge.I think I will go with horseback riding.After that team 1 was supposed to clean buckets but they were already clean so we fed somemore kids. Afterwards I separate cream At 12:00. I have done much much more .right now I am sitting inside everone is getting alot of papers. If you want to know more give me a call!

**Note from SonRidge**
For your convenience the SonRidge Snack Shack will be open 3 separate times each day of farm camp, and also be open on each Family Day. On Family Days the Farm Store will be located near the purple Snack Shack.
At farm camp items will range from $0.25 - $1.50 (with the exception of the color changing cups (with the farm logo) at $2.50)
Selection includes:
Cold drinks, juice pouches & sodas (Coke/Sierra Mist/Orange Crush)
Crackers, snack bars, chilled candy bars, Popsicles, and ice cream.

Please make sure to bring a couple dollars if you are interested in purchasing some snacks.

I will be attending a 4-H Farm Camp in August.
While there I will learn things from tacking up and riding a horse...















to learning about processing & cleaning Angora Goat Fiber.







I will also be assigned a dairy goat; which I will be responsible for milking, feeding, everyday care & even learn how to show her.



And don't forget... I'm also assigned my very own "kid" (baby goat) for the week!






I will learn how to make blacksmith items in a forge

and even make cheese, butter, and ice cream.
I'll learn about bees and get to make my own beeswax lip balm.
And of course... much, MUCH more!

I'm going to have so much fun and I can't wait for the week to start. I will even be keeping my own blog updated for the week. Please follow my blog so you can see all the things I'm doing and learning.
We can even come to family day on the farm...for free! I know that I'll want to introduce all my family to each of the animals on the
farm.
